If you want to join the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Georgia you're in the right place

New members joining for the first time, please print out the membership form AND release form (PDF), fill them out and sign them, and send them, along with your check, to BMWMCOGA, P.O. Box 773, Buford, GA 30515. You can also pay online at the Club Store, but you still need to send in the signed forms.

Current members can renew your membership at the Club Store Front; simply pay the renewal fee on line, without sending in a form. Of course you can always just print out the membership form (PDF), complete it, and send it in with your check as always, if you prefer that method.

The current membership fees are $25 (for Primary Members) or $15 (for Associate Members).


2013 Club Directors, Officers, and Advisors

Directors & Officers

PRESIDENT: Jonathan Sharpe (sharpeunit)
The duties of the President shall be to preside at all meetings of the Club, to have general supervision of the affairs of the Club, appoint any person or committee(s) not otherwise ordered by the Club, to act as ex-officio chairman of all committees, to personally represent the Club on proper occasions and on business contracts, to promote interest on the part of each member in Club life and activities, and to vote on a motion only when one vote is necessary to break a tie.

The duties of the Vice President shall be to perform the duties of the President in his absence, and to assist the President in all of his duties.

SECRETARY: Wolfgang Enneker (wolfgang)
The duties of the Secretary shall be to keep record of meetings of the Club in minutes, to send out notices of regular meetings, and to handle all Club correspondence.

TREASURER: Mark Stiles (airhead_mark)
The duties of the Treasurer shall be to collect dues from all members, to collect all other money due the Club, to make all payments from Club funds when so ordered by the Club, to pay all bills to non-members by check and to make a statement of Club funds when called upon by the Club. Checks for the amount of $500.00 or more require the authorization of both designated officers.

ROAD CAPTAIN: Geoff Maffett (brickflyer)
The duties of the Road Captain shall be to keep the Club calendar, to schedule and coordinate ride activities with the various ride organizers and to inform Club members of these in time to assure maximum participation.

The duties of the Director at Large may be focused on an area of particular importance to the club or serve in a general at-large capacity as needed.

Advisors

RALLY CHAIR: TBD
The duties of the Rally Chairman shall be to form the Rally Committee and acquaint committee members with their duties. To monitor the activities of committee members and to assure timely and appropriate action necessary for a successful rally. The chairman is responsible for developing a rally budget and rendering a final accounting to the Club. The chairman shall familiarize his successor with all necessary functions of the chairmanship. The position shall be dissolved should the membership elect to discontinue the rally. The Rally Chairman serves as an advisor on the Executive Board.

NEWSLETTER EDITOR: Sandra Berube and Phil Albritton (bykerphil)
The duties of the Newsletter Editor shall be to coordinate the newsletter, to solicit articles, to include articles relevant to Club life, to publish a Club calendar and to publish the newsletter in accordance with a schedule as determined by the Board. The Editor is empowered to form a Newsletter Committee and to appoint or act as chairman of said committee. The Newsletter Editor serves as an advisor on the Executive Board.

WEBMASTER: Chris Walker and Bubba Edwards (nail24)
The webmaster maintains the club website to ensure the site is current; coordinates timely site content updates with the Newsletter Editor to ensure consistent sharing of information; advises the Board of new technologies, standards or trends, and refreshes the site at the discretion of the Board. The Webmaster serves as an advisor on the Executive Board.
